Call or email sklep@woodcarver.pl as soon as possible, with your order number. Until the parcel leaves us, we can change or cancel the order. Once it’s been sent, you can return it.

By instant online transfer (PayU, Przelewy24), with InPost Pay, by bank transfer or cash on delivery.

Tick the invoice option and enter your tax ID (NIP or VAT number) when you order. We send the invoice by email.

Forgot your tax ID? Email biuro@woodcarver.pl with your order number before the parcel leaves us. Once it’s been sent, we can’t add the tax ID to the invoice.

No. With an account, you can check your order status in My orders and see your order history.

In our shop you have 60 days to return it. Email sklep@woodcarver.pl and send the parcel back to: Łokietka 71, 33-160 Ryglice, Poland.

We refund you within 14 days, usually as soon as the parcel arrives. The buyer pays for return postage, as set out in our terms and conditions. Details: Returns and complaints.

Engraved boards can’t be returned. If one is faulty, we’ll accept a complaint.

An end-grain board is made from many pieces of wood set with the fibres facing up. It needs regular care.

The blade slips between the wood fibres, which makes the board knife-friendly.

After each use, remove any food residue and wash the board with a soft sponge or cloth in warm water with a little mild washing-up liquid.

Dry the whole board straight after washing, including the underside and edges. Stand it somewhere airy, ideally upright, so that air reaches both sides.

Don’t put the board in the dishwasher. Don’t soak it or wash it under a strong jet of water.

Oil the board at least once a month, and more often if you use it every day. A dry, dull or noticeably lighter surface means it’s time for oil.

Using a cloth or sponge, apply an even coat of food-grade mineral oil to the clean, completely dry board. Leave the oil for a few hours or overnight, then wipe off the excess.

We recommend our board oil: 100% white mineral oil, safe for contact with food.

Check how you dry it. Stand it somewhere airy, ideally upright, so that air reaches both sides. Don’t leave a wet board lying flat on the worktop. Uneven drying can cause stress and warping in the wood.

Measure the space on your worktop before you choose a size. A 40×30 cm board gives you over a third more cutting space than a 35×25 cm one.
