Withdrawal from the contract

If

A) you are a consumer

or

B) you are a natural person and the contract you concluded with us after 31 December 2020 is directly related to your business activity but is not of a professional nature for you

- as a rule, you have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance.

You can withdraw from the contract by sending us a statement of withdrawal from the contract (click the link) e.g. by email to: sklep@woodcarver.pl

Send the returned item back to us at: Łokietka 71, 33-160 Ryglice, Poland , no later than 60 days from the day on which you withdrew from the contract.

You can withdraw from the contract within 60 days.

The 60-day period for withdrawing from the contract starts:

• for a contract under which we deliver an item and are obliged to transfer its ownership - from the moment you take possession of the item, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you takes possession of it, and for a contract covering multiple items delivered separately, in batches or in parts - from the moment you take possession of the last item, batch or part, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you takes possession of it.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the statement before the period expires.

We will refund the payments you made, including the costs of delivering the item on the terms set out in the Terms and Conditions, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your statement of withdrawal from the contract.

We may withhold the refund of the payment received from you until we have received the item back or you have supplied proof of having sent it back, whichever is earlier.

Please note that the right to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance does not apply, among others, to a contract:

• for the supply of an item that is not prefabricated and is made to your specifications or intended to meet your individual needs;
• this applies to an engraved cutting board with an engraving made according to the text you provided in your order; you can return a board without an engraving within 60 days;
• for the supply of an item that is liable to deteriorate rapidly or has a short shelf life;
• for the supply of an item delivered in sealed packaging which cannot be returned once opened for health protection or hygiene reasons, if the packaging was opened after delivery;
• for the supply of sound or video recordings or computer software delivered in sealed packaging, if the packaging was opened after delivery.

Complaints

If goods you bought from us turn out to be defective, you have the right to make a complaint under the statutory warranty. The best way to submit a complaint is by email to: sklep@woodcarver.pl or by post to: Łokietka 71, 33-160 Ryglice, Poland.

If you are not a consumer, our liability to you, to the extent permitted by law, is limited to the value of your order and to one year from delivery of the goods. The provisions below apply to consumers.

In connection with a defect, you may request:

• replacement of the item with one free from defects,
• repair of the defect,

or submit a statement of:

• price reduction,
• withdrawal from the contract – in the case of a material defect.

We are liable to you for defects discovered within two years of the date the item was delivered.

As a rule, you can submit a complaint within one year of noticing the defect, but the time for submitting a complaint cannot end before the seller’s liability period expires.

We will consider your complaint (respond to it) within 14 days of the date we receive it.
