Replacing a supermarket or bamboo board?
A cutting board for everyday chopping.
What it’s for
An end-grain board is made from multiple pieces of wood arranged with the fibres facing upward. It needs regular care.
The blade slips between the wood fibres, which is why the board is gentle on knives.
Shape and size
A round board, 35 cm in diameter.
Edges: rounded or straight
The two versions differ in their edges.
One version has rounded edges. The other has straight edges, lightly softened.
Prefer a rounded edge? Choose rounded edges. Prefer a straight edge? Choose straight edges.

Care
The board arrives oiled with mineral oil and ready to use.
Oil the board at least once a month, more often with daily use.
A dry, matt or noticeably lighter surface means it is time for oil.
Dry the whole board immediately after washing, including the underside and edges.
Stand it in a well-ventilated place, preferably upright, so that air can reach both sides.
Do not put the board in a dishwasher.
We recommend our board oil: 100% white mineral oil, safe for food contact.
